EQ skills matter. Literally thousands of studies have shown that executives with stronger EQ skills are more successful, create more value, and lead more effectively. MHS has developed the most scientific EQ assessment tools on the market. However, the development of systematic methods to help clients improve their EQ skills has lagged behind the quality of those assessments.

For the past 20 years, psychologist Dana Ackley, Ph.D., has focused on creating methods for coaching EQ which create sustainable behavior change in leaders. Because of the results which Dana gets, client organizations large and small have hired and re-hired him. One Fortune 500 company has used Dana since 2003.

This EQ Executive Coaching workshop provides an overview of Dr. Ackley’s approach. It begins with practical methods independent consultants can use to get hired, earn repeat business, and win engagement from participants. Then it looks at an assessment process that builds client motivation to engage in coaching. Third, Dana discusses some of the twenty-two coaching tools he has included in his coaching methodology. Finally, he will describe spin off work which coaching can generate.

In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn how to enhance their ability to find and win work.
  • Improve their understanding of how to conduct assessments to build client motivation.
  • Understand twenty-two specific coaching tools.
  • Get ideas about additional work that can be outgrowths of executive coaching.
